'''Radio World''', also known as the '''Sound Test''', is a world used to play the tracks of all the various [[Worlds|worlds]].

The main worlds' tracks are unlocked by beating [[Lava World]], and the sub-worlds' tracks are unlocked by beating [[Castle World]]. The bonus worlds work differently, with the unlocks being world-specific. For instance, [[City World]] may have it's tracks unlocked after beating it, but [[Virtual World]] will remain locked until it is beaten.

For listening pleasure, all of that unlock garbage has been set aside. Refresh, and enjoy the tunes of the worlds.

Wither Skeletons, the strong backbone of the [[The Wither|Wither's]] massive army of undead. Before I get into their physiology, I will have to give some background on them, so do forgive me for breaking formatting. It's pretty difficult to discuss the Wither Skeletons without discussing a little about their leader, after all.

=== Background, and The Wither ===
As mentioned earlier, this mob serves one master: the [[The Wither|Wither]]. It is the physical embodiment of a force better known as [[Death|death]], and therefore, is practically one and the same to the eyes of many. Although it has more in common with the [[Grim Reaper]] than a force of nature, it is still one to fear.

While the [[The Wither|Wither]] might be analogous to the [[Grim Reaper]] of common myth, it still has a mind of it's own, much like it's soldiers. To it, death is the natural state of all life, and therefore, as it is the agent of death, it must bring everything to this point. As a result, it is hellbent on destroying all life, through any means necessary. I'll divulge more on the [[The Wither|Wither]] itself at a later point in time, but for now, I leave you with that.

But how does this all tie back to the skeletons at hand? Well, these skeletons are actually people who have sworn complete allegiance to the [[The Wither|Wither]], and thus, fight for it's desired "natural state". By joining the [[The Wither|Wither's]] cause, these people have become basically immortal, continuing to live for centuries after they join, though evidently anything other than their bones have lasted so long. And so, the army of death marches on, bringing ruin to anything and everything they come across, and rendering the land the conquer dead for eternity.

=== Physiology ===
I've yabbered on about this mob's history, though, so how's about I get to what I ''really'' wanted to talk about? Wither Skeletons, as their name implies, are skeletons. Being blessed by the [[The Wither|Wither]], they continue to march on, even after they logically should not be able to move. Many bones bear cuts and fractures, very clearly damage from the numerous campaigns they've been on. While their black coloration may at first seem to be from the fires of their home dimension, it actually just comes from the permanent withering they're afflicted with by being the [[The Wither|Wither's]] soldiers. Additionally, their height also comes from this allegiance. An odd benefit, but it seems to make them stronger, so it (somehow) works.

=== Behavior ===
Being soldiers, they typically march around their posts, patrolling to make sure it's as strong as it can be. The "intruders" include anything not allied with the [[The Wither|Wither]], such as [[Piglin|Piglins]] or [[Magma Cube|Magma Cubes]], though any "undead" mob is fine by them. Occasionally, two Wither Skeletons may start a friendly sparring match, which usually ends with the winning skeleton knocking the sword of the loser's out of their hands, though it may have the loser's head be knocked off instead (a minor inconvenience for any skeleton).

Once an "intruder" is spotted, they'll begin an unrelenting assault on them, sprinting at full speed to catch them. Once within successful striking range, they'll initiate combat with this "intruder," swinging their sword with little to no time for the opponent to retaliate. These strikes, if not successfully blocked or dodged, will cause the opponent to not only face the force of the blow, but also be afflicted with withering of their own, draining their life. This makes Wither Skeletons a handful on their own, and a massive issue in groups. You can really tell these are the best of the best the [[The Wither|Wither]] has to offer, honestly.

=== Where to Find ===
Despite carvings of the [[The Wither|Wither]] appearing on chiseled red sandstone, suggesting a presence of those who at the very least worship it in Mesas or other red sandstone rich areas, Wither Skeletons do not appear in those biomes. Instead, they appear exclusively in [[Nether Fortress|Nether Fortresses]], a rare structure found anywhere in the [[The Nether|Nether]]. They share this space with [[Blaze|Blazes]], who they share an uneasy alliance with.

=== Spoils of Combat ===
If you manage to defeat one, they can give a wide variety of items. They commonly give bones and coal, which can be used to make bone meal and coal-related things, respectively. They also rarely give their stone swords, which is a nice trophy, and even more rarely their own skull, which makes for a nicer trophy. Getting three Wither Skeleton skulls and four soul sand allows one to summon the wither, but I'll get into that later.

=== Final Comments ===
Wither Skeletons have an undoubtedly rich history, though it's likely more from the [[The Wither|Wither]] itself rather than the skeletons. They're also quite strong foes, but unfortunately very lacking in terms of biological insight. I'm not a paleontologist, so I can't look at bones and say much other than "it's bones." The [[Creeper]] is perhaps one of the more sad creatures I've researched, due to their history. If it weren't for their history, they'd be very quite fascinating, but alas, tragedy must complicate things. Due to how they are, I must split this into three sections: one for the standard variety likely to be familiar to most of you, one for the wild variety that was changed by the [[Illager|Illagers]], and one for the charged variety that emerges from lightning.

Now, the Creeper most will find, which shall henceforth be referred to as "Illager Creepers," get their characteristic explosive tendencies from the gunpowder, TNT, or another similar compound that Illagers put in them. There's actual evidence for this, too, as I have witnessed Illagers capturing and transporting wild Creepers, and seen the Creeper gardens in certain outposts. Plus, the idea of Illagers taking a benign creature and turning it hostile isn't unheard of; just look at [[Vex|Vexes]] and [[Allay|Allays]]!

If one wishes to ''purposefully'' cause it to explode, however, one would need a flint and steel, and then ignite their tail. This causes an irreversible priming of the Illager Creeper, with the tail acting like a fuse.

Aside from that, Illager Creepers will ignore everything but explorers and [[Cat|cats]]. [[Brewery|Alchemists]] can also use it to make throwable potions, referred to as "splash potions" by the alchemical community. Once a potion is made into a splash potion, the process cannot be reversed, but the potion can still be tampered with, such as putting [[Glowstone Dust]] into it to extend the length or [[Redstone Dust]] to increase it's potency.

If the Illager Creeper was slain by the arrow of a [[Skeleton]], then it'll drop a random music disc, guaranteed. These discs are, oddly, all from the same artist, C418. For starters, the eyes and tail are far different, as instead of the small size seen in their Illager cousins, they have these features in a much larger size- quite noticeable with the tail. More on their tail, it's very vibrant green coloration leaves me to believe it's a vine, which makes the withered and stubby tails of the Illager Creepers all the more depressing.

For features these creatures lack, look no further than the most infamous ability of the Illager Creeper: self-destruction. This fatal ability is completely absent, instead being a harmless expulsion of air from their central body, allowing their seeds to disperse in a rather creative way. As such, this means the Creeper can freely close it's mouth, without worry of accidentally detonating a deadly payload. This means they also lack the fuse tail, though lighting it on fire is still significantly harmful to the beast.

A feature unique to the untamed variety is it's ability to vocalize, and vocalize rather pleasantly, in fact. Greetings! I am the Biologist, and I've wandered across the lands of [[Minecraft]] for as long as I can remember. I've documented every mob there is. From the standard [[Creeper]] to the elusive [[Guardian|Guardians]], and from the small [[Bat|Bats]] to the enormous [[Ghast|Ghasts]]; if there's a creature out there, I guarantee that I've got it covered. Where? Why, here! As all of these entries have been transcribed physically, it'll take a bit to put each and every one into this wiki, but hopefully it'll all be covered soon!

What follows is each dimension and the mobs I've documented within them. Do note that the mobs will be listed under the dimension they can be found most commonly in; for instance, [[Skeletons]] will be listed in the [[Overworld]] section, but not in the [[The Nether|Nether]] section, despite them being able to appear in the [[Soul Sand Valley]] biome.
