For the first two weeks of this [[challenge period]], I went to the United Kingdom to gather [[information]] for this article.<sup>[{{tooltip|?!|Okay, to be perfectly clear, I didn't go to the United Kingdom just for this challenge. This was a family trip planned months in advance that just happened to coincide with the challenge period. I just think that it's funny to say I went there just for this challenge, so that's the story I'm sticking with for this article.}}]</sup> Okay so I only went to [[London]], but it's the biggest [[city]], so I'm sure that generalizes to the whole country, right?

It generally felt like what I was used to, but with [[Template:A1|some things changed]] so they were different. [[Discord/general|General]]<nowiki/>ly felt cleaner and quieter than my [[city]]. Also slightly more vibrant colours.

Also I don't know where else to put this, but floors of [[The Tower|building]]s are [[0]]-[[indeх.php|index]]ed instead of [[Lua|1-indexed]] which I think is cool (0 is often replaced with G for "[[ground]]", but it still counts).

The [[first]] thing I noticed on the train out of the [[airport]] was how quiet the [[train]]s were! But then we went on more trains and it turned out that a lot of them are really loud. The loud ones were pretty loud, about the same as the ones in [[Chicago|my city]] if not louder; at one point one train on the Northern line got up to 90 [[decibel]]s inside and many times I felt the need to cover my ears. The quiet ones were very [[The Divine Goddess|pleasant]] though; maybe the loud ones are just old and it just wouldn't be [[Economic period|economical]] to replace them if they work fine, which I can understand.

The trains were also [[Frequency|frequent]]; there was one coming every few minutes! It's been a while since I've used the trains in my city, but I remember having to wait around a while for trains. The trains also seemed to be pretty well on time. The only [[delay]] I experienced was having to wait for like, 5 minutes on a train stopped in a station because the train ahead of us [[Synonyms for ratio|fell off]] their system. And we took a lot of trains, so this seems pretty good.

Another positive of the trains here was they didn't [[Urine|smell]] like the ones in my city!

I'm not super into trains (as in I don't know a lot about them), but I do love some good [[public transit]], and I got a good [[UX|user experience]] from the United Kingdom's trains. 8/10 because I'm sure there are better public transit systems out there, I just don't know [[where]] they are.

I've only been on a [[bus]] once in my city and it was an [[okay]] experience. My experiences with the busses in the United Kingdom was quite [[The Divine Goddess|pleasant]], similar to the trains. They were much quieter and cleaner than the ones in my city; it felt very similar to the trains in terms of general vibe, just slower and on a road instead of a track. The upper level sways with double the [[amplitude]] of the bottom level, but the frequency is fairly low so it's fine. Again a very [[+|positive]] experience; 8/10 for the same [[reason]]s as the trains.

River boats along the Thames are also integrated into the United Kingdom's transit system. I only went on one, but it went pretty smoothly. Road signs are the standard ones; not the ones ''I'm'' used to though, because North America decided to do its own thing. The street signs are [[fun]] and stylized depending on where you are and this one's [[typeface]] is reminiscent of Albertus so that's cool I guess.

The [[number]] plates use a rather minimalistic design which means they lack the opportunity for [[web design is my passion|fun designs]], so they lose points for that, but then again, they also lack the opportunity for [[ugly]] designs and you [[can't]] go [[wrong]] with something this simple, so I give the number plates a 6.5/10.

Generally, I found the designs on signage to have a nice distinctive look; bright colours of different hues, very minimalistic, no nonsense and straight to the point.

Lost Artifact participated in [[BFDI: The Power of Two]] before being banished to the shadow realm in the episode "[[Return of the Hang Glider 12]]", earning Lost Artifact 2000th place in general.

Lost Artifact then decided to escape the shadow realm and was never found since. Allegedly, Lost Artifact has been spotted participating in [[Challenge 1]] of [[The Wiki Camp 2]], but that had been colloquially and unanimously decided to be pure hearsay, since nobody had heard from Lost Artifact at the time, until it was confirmed by the time [[The Supreme Goddess]] announced the results, which confirmed Lost Artifact's true location. They have since participated in [[Challenge 2]], where they snuck into the back door of [[Damn seal]], but was later banished into the backrooms. Since then, no Lost Artifact spottings have been made... But not for long! By [[Challenge 3]], Lost Artifact decided to disguise themselves as [[New Londinium]], a previously planned participator and decided to contribute in the [[Edit War]] by inserting what seemed to be the entirety of the Damn seal page, however it would seem that they snuck in the entirety of [[Rules|Moby Dick]], including the dreaded 94th Chapter in, showing [[THIS ARTIFACT WILL DIE!!!!!!!!!!|NO REMORSE]] in the process. Because of this, Lost Artifact was found out and a whole new [[Rules|rule]] emerged. So Lost Artifact eventually decided to swear revenge on the Wiki Camp crew for chastising their decision, cursing them with the [[Billboard]] in the process. Unfortunately, the Billboard did not curse them as badly as Lost Artifact had hoped, and as it turns out, it was submitted as a [[Challenge 4|thing]] for [[Challenge 4]] and ended up putting Damn seal up for elimination. This then led to Lost Artifact disguising themselves yet again, this time as a "representative" of the [[Birmingham City Council]]. Fortunately for them, [[123 Referee]] didn't vote and ended up being auto-eliminated, therefore meeting the quota and sparing them and the rest of Damn seal. As for Lost Artifact, though, it is presumed that they have gone off to [[England (city)|England]]. Many presume Lost Artifact is attempting to assassinate [[King Bob]], although it is still unknown what Lost Artifact is doing there in the first place. They also did some other challenges but who cares at this point they still can't be found!!

The [[first]] thing I noticed on the train out of the [[airport]] was how quiet the [[train]]s were! But then we went on more trains and it turned out that a lot of them are really loud. The loud ones were pretty loud, about the same as the ones in [[Chicago|my city]] if not louder; at one point one train on the Northern line got up to 90 [[decibel]]s inside and many times I felt the need to cover my ears. The quiet ones were very [[The Divine Goddess|pleasant]] though; maybe the loud ones are just old and it just wouldn't be [[Economic period|economical]] to replace them if they work fine, which I can understand.

And we took a lot of trains, so this seems pretty good.

Another positive of the trains here was they didn't [[Urine|smell]] like the ones in my city!

I'm not super into trains (as in I don't know a lot about them), but I do love some good [[public transit]], and I got a good [[UX|user experience]] from the United Kingdom's trains. 8/10 because I'm sure there are better public transit systems out there, I just don't know [[where]] they are.

They were much quieter and cleaner than the ones in my city; it felt very similar to the trains in terms of general vibe, just slower and on a road instead of a track. The upper level sways with double the [[amplitude]] of the bottom level, but the frequency is fairly low so it's fine. Again a very [[+|positive]] experience; 8/10 for the same [[reason]]s as the trains.

River boats along the Thames are also integrated into the United Kingdom's transit system. I only went on one, but it went pretty smoothly. It was the same process as the trains, just with some additional steps for getting on. There was also a safety [[card]] we were told to read when we sat down. Definitely more bicycles than I see in my city, but they could still see a lot more usage from the looks of them.

Road signs are the standard ones; not the ones ''I'm'' used to though, because North America decided to do its own thing. The street signs are [[fun]] and stylized depending on where you are and this one's [[typeface]] is reminiscent of Albertus so that's cool I guess.

The [[number]] plates use a rather minimalistic design which means they lack the opportunity for [[web design is my passion|fun designs]], so they lose points for that, but then again, they also lack the opportunity for [[ugly]] designs and you [[can't]] go [[wrong]] with something this simple, so I give the number plates a 6.5/10.

Generally, I found the designs on signage to have a nice distinctive look; bright colours of different hues, very minimalistic, no nonsense and straight to the point.

The predominant language spoken in the United Kingdom is English,{{citation needed}} with a wide variety of dialects spoken throughout the country. The most common dialects spoken in England are non-rhotic dialects which drop rhotic sounds in the middle or ends of words and changes the vowel's length to be long instead of short. That's right, some dialects of English have phonemic length! Not like that fake long/short distinction that people say English has with /iː/ and /uː/ when they're actually the closing diphthongs /ɪj/ and /ʊw/.

To watch live broadcast television you must have a TV license which is essentially a subscription to Netflix long before Netflix existed, with the additional requirement that you still have to pay them even if you only watch live TV Shows on a rival service, and they also send goons and threatening letters to your house (yes, this really happens) if you stop paying for the subscription. The main way to watch Broadcast television is through "Freeview" (which isn't exactly free since you still need to pay the license fee to use it.) Though more channels can be found on Cable and Satellite services where available.

It's like text, but for your television. basically you could have blocky, limited graphics sent to your via television signal that could display some super "cool" stuff. Cool, as in the latest headlines and stocks, before computers and internet were everywhere. The UK Pioneered this Technology and it was incredible. So incredible that they had to shut it down in 2012 when analogue TV stopped being a thing so you were forced to view news in a non blocky, unlimited colour format. Gross.

In 2013, the children's network Children's ITV (CITV) had the rights to air the beloved Disney hit original series ''Gravity Falls'' for two months in Summer of 2013.

This is commonly regarded as one of the strangest and boldest moves in UK television history as while it wouldn't have been the first time CITV had acquired Disney shows, as ''Phineas & Ferb, ''Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil'' and ''House of Mouse'' had all aired on the channel in the past. Season 1 of the series hadn't even fully finished on Disney XD UK yet or even over in the United States at the time. As a result, much of the show wasn't acquired as the channe only had the rights to the first nine episodes of the series, “Tourist Trapped” - “Time Traveler's Pig”.

This outraged many people who wished to support the show legally and couldn't afford to pay for the UK's channel packages containing Disney XD. Many fans to this day remain confused on why the later Season 1 eps or even any of season 2 weren't acquired by ITV a later date either, due to the show's booming popularity at the time from the cartoon community and general theorists.

It is speculated that either the ITV executives wanted to make more room for ''Scooby Doo'', ''Horrid Henry'', ''The Aquabats! Super Show'' and ''Mr. Bean: The Animated Series'' reruns, or that they simply didn't want any more story-driven cartoons plaguing their precious network. ''Pokèmon the Series: Black & White'' was already airing at the time on it's final season with ''Adventures in Unova'' with ''Pokèmon the Series: XY'' right around the corner, so another show with heavy continuity might've worried the higher ups as they didn't want kids having to keep up with more of these types of shows.

Joseph "The Lost Artifact" Green Hill, known simply as [[Lost Artifact]], is an unknown lost artifact that has been lost for reasons yet to be determined.

== Appearance ==
Some sort of weird plate of an unknown metal which cracked over time. Experts believe that they might be gold (giants), although Lost Artifact isn't as shiny as gold. In fact, Lost Artifact isn't shiny at all!

== Personality ==
Lost Artifact is a very sporadic character. Sometimes, Lost Artifact can be rude and condescending to others, other times, Lost Artifact can be very chill and nonchalant. Who actually knows what Lost Artifact's true colours are? Don't answer that, you'll regret it if you do.

== Coverage ==
Lost Artifact participated in [[BFDI: The Power of Two]] before being banished to the shadow realm in the episode "[[Return of the Hang Glider 12]]", earning Lost Artifact 2000th place in general.

Lost Artifact then decided to escape the shadow realm and was never found since. Allegedly, Lost Artifact has been spotted participating in [[Challenge 1]] of [[The Wiki Camp 2]], but that had been colloquially and unanimously decided to be pure hearsay, since nobody had heard from Lost Artifact at the time, until it was confirmed by the time [[The Supreme Goddess]] announced the results, which confirmed Lost Artifact's true location. They have since participated in [[Challenge 2]], where they snuck into the back door of [[Damn seal]], but was later banished into the backrooms. Since then, no Lost Artifact spottings have been made... But not for long! By [[Challenge 3]], Lost Artifact decided to disguise themselves as [[New Londinium]], a previously planned participator and decided to contribute in the [[Edit War]] by inserting what seemed to be the entirety of the Damn seal page, however it would seem that they snuck in the entirety of [[Rules|Moby Dick]], including the dreaded 94th Chapter in, showing [[THIS ARTIFACT WILL DIE!!!!!!!!!!|NO REMORSE]] in the process. Because of this, Lost Artifact was found out and a whole new [[Rules|rule]] emerged. So Lost Artifact eventually decided to swear revenge on the Wiki Camp crew for chastising their decision, cursing them with the [[Billboard]] in the process. Unfortunately, the Billboard did not curse them as badly as Lost Artifact had hoped, and as it turns out, it was submitted as a [[Challenge 4|thing]] for [[Challenge 4]] and ended up putting Damn seal up for elimination. This then led to Lost Artifact disguising themselves yet again, this time as a "representative" of the [[Birmingham City Council]]. Fortunately for them, [[123 Referee]] didn't vote and ended up being auto-eliminated, therefore meeting the quota and sparing them and the rest of Damn seal. As for Lost Artifact, though, it is presumed that they have gone off to [[England (city)|England]]. Many presume Lost Artifact is attempting to assassinate [[King Bob]], although it is still unknown what Lost Artifact is doing there in the first place.

In the Gravity Falls Library, Mabel and Dipper are finally able to open the laptop they found in the bunker after Soos had fixed it. Unfortunately, they are stopped from accessing the contents because it's protected by an eight letter password. Annoyed, Dipper begins to attempt cracking the password with Mabel, but she is distracted by puppeteer Gabe Bensen, who is performing for children on the wonders of reading. Mabel chats him up, telling him she has a love for puppets as well. Gabe is glad to find someone who is as "puppet crazy" as he is and asks her when her next puppet show is. Put on the spot, Mabel makes up a quick story and details the show in next week.

Mabel requests Dipper's help, promising she'd help him crack the password once they finish the preparations for the last minute show. Dipper reluctantly agrees, eager to finally discover what the laptop holds as he leaves the library with Mabel, unaware that a familiar shadow is following them.

Over the next few days, Mabel, Dipper, Wendy, and Soos make numerous puppets. In the meantime, Dipper continues to attempt cracking the password at night, depriving him of sleep-- failing repeatedly. The night before the show, while Mabel is content with her puppet progress, Dipper continues to grow frustrated. As she gets ready for bed, Dipper decides to head for the roof and try a little longer. Furious with the constant error sound the computer makes with every wrong entry, he considers that there must be a clue or shortcut to make the laptop work, when he is surprised by none other than Bill Cipher. Bill toys with Dipper before offering to give him hints on how to unlock the laptop. Bill would help Dipper if he agrees to "a small favor." Dipper refuses, the events of "Dreamscaperers" fresh in his mind. Bill tells Dipper that the offer will still be open, and he'll be ready to make a deal right before Dipper wakes up screaming.

In the kitchen, Stan is ignoring Mabel who is trying to get his attention with the puppet version of him. Stan continues to purposefully be oblivious to what she's been doing all week. Dipper tiredly takes Mabel aside and informs her of his encounter with the "triangle guy." Mabel reassures him that she's ready to help Dipper that day after passing along her puppets to her production crew, Candy and Grenda. However, this plan falls through when Gabe unexpectedly shows up, nitpicking a puppet show of another girl's he attended the night before. Feeling a rise in quality and pressure, and seeing her team's mishaps, Mabel decides to continue working on the show. Dipper angrily points out her promise and how breaking it isn't worth her obsession with her crush-of-the-week. However, Mabel throws the phrase back in his face and tells him that he's the one who's obsessed. She insists she'll help him after the show, but fed up and disappointed Dipper heads to the attic to crack the code himself.

However, the laptop, having received the incorrect password too many times, prepares to initiate a data wipe in five minutes. Just as Dipper flies into a panic, Bill Cipher reappears, giving Dipper an ultimatum: Accept the deal, or have the laptop's secrets erased forever, and all Bill wants is a puppet. Dipper suspiciously continues to reject the offer, telling Bill that Mabel worked really hard on puppets. Bill slyly reminds Dipper of all the times he has sacrificed his wants for Mabel, who has never returned the favor. Moreover, he tells Dipper that he just needs one puppet, of which there is a surplus of anyway. As the laptop continues to count down the seconds, the temptation pushes Dipper over the edge and he agrees.

As they shake hands (closing the deal), Dipper asks Bill which puppet he wanted. Bill mockingly ponders his answer before turning on Dipper and takes possession of his body and kicking Dipper's consciousness out. Dipper, now in a ghost-like form is shocked as Bill stomps on the laptop, smashing it to pieces. He reveals that Dipper was the puppet he wanted and that Dipper "had come way too close to figuring out some major answers," and wanted Dipper out of the way. He proclaims that now all he has to do is destroy Journal 3 and Dipper will be unable to stop his "big plans."

That's essentially how it possesses you.
