The King In Yellow is a book by Robert Williams Chambers first published in 1895 it is commonly regarded as the first work of true cosmic horror. The book has nine short story’s only the first four of which are actually cosmic horror (these I recommend reading as the rest are not the best romance and are devoid of most if not any supernatural elements). The book is known for its later influences on pioneers of the genre such as our favourite mental case H.P.Lovecraft himself
