For some reason, I always thought it was a Disney Channel show and was also a spinoff of [[Phineas and Ferb]]. I've never done a proper watch of the series, so I figured I'd make a sort of watch diary.<br /> <br /> ==Season 1==<br /> ===Dan vs. New Mexico===<br /> The first impression I have is that this show definetly appeals to my sense of humor and it feels good. The whole library client cheating on wife thing feels kind of mature for a kid's show. Using hydrogen to inflate the hot air balloons to make Hindenberg 2.0 was certainly a choice. I like the start but I admittedly lose some interest with the whole Area 52-Balloon Cultist parts later on. Still good though!<br /> <br /> ===Dan vs. Wolf Man===<br /> Damn, not even a minute in and we already got the show's biggest legacy: &quot;[[I don't care who the IRS sends, I am not paying taxes]]&quot;. I saw a YouTube comment claiming that this was the first episode and therefore the first joke in the whole show, but they're wrong. Still doesn't ruin how fucking awesome this joke is.<br /> <br /> Even after, this episode is honestly way better than the first: We have Dan and Chris going to jail for kidnapping a minor, Dan making an arrowhead out of a silver dollar, golden scenes for me. Also, there's blood in this episode and they say it's blood. And this show aired on the same network as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Definetly weird, I thought this would have been on like an Adult Swim-esque block and I don't think that existed on The Hub.
