Called as such because there are only 8 rivers in the whole world and 8 secret locked doors with keys that must be found in secret locations across the map. So far, only 3 doors have been unlocked. The first door which was found leads to the nether, the second leads to a parkour map, and the third leads to [[Parkour Civilization|parkour civilization]] but Vriska is also there.
