Baikal Cave is a mysterious cavern between Lake Baikal and Baikal Mountain. At first glance, it looks like a normal cavern. However, its innermost chambers are home to the legendary glowing symphonic stalactites and stalagmites, one of the 92 Wonders of the Natural World. These stalactites and stalagmites are made of a glowing turquoise quartz, reminiscent of the Waitomo Glowworm Caves in New Zealand. When even the slightest thing drops on these surprising mineral formations, they make a soothing bong, like a singing bowl.
