Big Boy's tours

After Big Boy's unexpected event, he decided to tour the United States and put on some sort of stage show on rails describing his experiences. And while he's drawing thousands upon thousands, it seems like it's only for his sheer size. But fear not—Big Boy merely sees this as a trial.

The trial: 2026 coast to coast

The first leg of the trip was familiar territory west of Cheyenne, with major display days in Ogden and Roseville near Sacramento. The furthest he went east before 2026, though, was Chicago. This time, he was slated to head to the east coast for the first time. Southeast of Buffalo, the first big moment of Big Boy's explorations was meeting up with Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern No. 2102, one of the Reading Company's T-1 4-8-4 locomotives, in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. The two ran side by side for two days along the Pocono Mountains. Meanwhile, Scranton saw a long-awaited reunion as our favourite Big Boy—No. 4014—reunited with his brother, No. 4012, telling him stories from all 300 of Wikiland's groves. On Independence Day, Big Boy arrived in Philadelphia, though he was overshadowed by French and Paraguayan fans watching the FIFA World Cup round of 16 game at Lincoln Financial Field.

Departing Philadelphia, Big Boy's major stops include his returns to Fostoria, Ohio and Chicago, as well as St. Louis. But the one stop he's been preparing for was Altoona's Horseshoe Curve. This felt like the perfect opportunity for a one-engine show where he tells the story of the Wiki Camp 2 in a comedic way.

The big one: all 48 contiguous states, Canada, Mexico, and all of Wikiland

In enough years, Big Boy will probably be well known enough for him to successfully convince Union Pacific to take him on a tour of North America. By that time, he'll have already seen all of Wikiland and its foamer culture.
