In the modern world, the Chicago Cubs already echo baseball at its anarchic roots — a dense neighbourhood surrounding Wrigley Field (including rooftop bleachers), ivy leaves, and a community spirit that persevered for over a century, especially with a 108-year-long wait for a World Series title. When the fans sing, the world smiles. There is wonder in each flying "W" flag. There was little change in the post-capitalist transition — that community charm was already there.
