Explain/Trains
This article is a work in progress. ...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes. |
Trains. Trains, trains, trains. They're everywhere in The Wiki Camp 2, but not as much as seals. I wonder why...
Before we get to this, what is a train? A train is simply a string of vehicles travelling along a track. Usually, trains are pulled or pushed by locomotives, though some, including multiple units, are self-propelled. Passengers and freight are carried in cars. No, not the cars you're thinking of.
Trains are very entertaining to watch. The hobby of watching trains is called trainspotting or railfanning. Trains are also very efficient due to the low friction between the steel rails and the steel wheels. Plus, passenger trains are denser than cars. These reasons, plus many more, are why trains make frequent appearances, with the vast majority of train-related edits and pages being made by SMW. Trains have played a major role in his life for 10 years. He even signed up as Big Boy, the world's biggest steam locomotive.
