Guitar Hero

Guitar Hero is a rhythm video game released in 2004, best known for the plastic guitar-like controller peripheral that comes with it.
After its initial release and sudden popularity, it was expanded into a whole franchise. The games soundtrack includes songs by Franz Ferdinand, Megadeth, David Bowie, Metallica, Deep Purple, Slayer, Hatsune Miku, 100 gecs, Radiohead, Green Day, Limp Bizkit, Wesley Willis, and Death Grips.
Development
They hired a bunch of programmers and game designers n shit and told them that if they did not make a video game that was Cool as Fuck they would be dishonored for life.
Soundtrack licensing
The developers of the game downloaded a bunch of songs from Limewire and Kazaa and put them all in the game because copyright law was not yet invented in the year that the game was developed.
Reception
Everyone thought that the game was Cool as Fuck, as it had Jame Headfilled, and the programmers that had to work without rest for thousands of years on this game have been spared.
