Hazbin Hotel

Hazbin Hotel is a Canadian animated children's television series created by Vivienne "Vivziepop" Medrano.
This series was like Spongebob except it was set in hell for some reason. What the fuck, Canada? Hazbin Hotel originally premiered in the United States on October 28, 2019, and in Canada also on October 28, 2019. The show premiered in Hell... Never, as Hell has prohibited all airings of this show. Sorry, Hellians. The final episode aired on, you guessed it, October 28, 2019. There was only one episode. Sadge! This is because, for some reason, an identical show made by the exact same people, Helluva Boss, was invented, leaving Hazbin Hotel to go into a corner and cry forever like a baby. Forever!
Originally, this was pitched to Cartoon Network, but they were too busy animating Teen Titans GO! to give one shit about Hazbin Hotel, so it went to Teletoon and Disney XD. However, due to it being so fucking edgie, it was later moved to Eviltoon and Disney Dogshit.
Premise
The series follows the adventures of Jimmy, a happy-go-lucky butch lesbian who makes it his mission to find fun everywhere he goes. Unfortunately, Jimmy lives in Hell, where people swear and do drugs and are so offensive and edgy, but it's ok. Because it's Hell! Jimmy also runs the titular Hazbin Hotel, a hotel dedicated to the happiness and repetence of others. Along with his girlfriend Heloise (mad scientist and straight man to Jimmy's optimism) and his best friend Beezy (adventure lover, couch potato, and demonic prince of Hell), Jimmy is determined to surf past all obstacles and bring his infectious enthusiasm to all of Hell.
Characters

Jimmy - Jimmy is the main protagonist and founder of the titular Hazbin Hotel. He is a newcomer to Hell and doesn't quite fit in yet but is still stacked enough to afford a hotel downtown. She was confirmed to be a butch lesbian by series creator Vivienne Medrano on her Twitter account.
Heloise - Heloise is the manager of the Hazbin Hotel and Jimmy's girlfriend. She is highly supportive of Jimmy and has a quick temper. Despite said temper, she often tries to be a level-headed and rational person, and she struggles to keep the hotel's image from being tarnished by Jimmy and Lucy's antics. Heloise is also a lesbian character.
Beezy - Beezy is the son of Luicius Heinous VII and was born in Hell. He can sus.
Lucius Heinous VII - Lucius (also known as Lucy) is the head honcho of Hell. You could call him a king, but he's more of a businessman. That's right folks. Hell is a capitalist nightmare! Just like earth!!!
Samy - He's gay.
Angel Devil - He can sus
Angle Devil - mwahahaha only math homework for you in hell!!!
Scrapped
These characters were planned to appear in other episodes, but there's only one episode, sorry.
God - The ruler of Heaven. He was scrapped for not fitting the theme of Hell, because He's God, damnit.

Development
Medrano came up with the idea of Hazbin Hotel by imagining what Hell would be like if it was "gay as fuck". She got a bunch of people to work with her on creating this show by DMing them on Twitter and Discord. Everyone agreed to work with her, including Mark Musk who is well known for being a talented writer.
In an interview with The New Dogshit Times, she said that her team "came up with so much good shit for [her] awesome little show; the scenes, props, themes, characters, and even the heartbreaking moments. Really, it was a group effort, but honest to god, [her] mother is very proud of [her]." Medrano also confirmed that she originally planned to have Purgatory be a crucial plot point, but scrapped this in favor of having the show simply be hell-centric the entire time.
Reception
Hazbin Hotel has received mixed reviews on Rotten Tahmahtohs, with critics unsure what to make of it. Infamously, the Youtube debut of Hazbin Hotel received a NerpaPunch Brick Award.
Trivia
- Due to their connection to Hell, seals make frequent appearances, most often nerpas.
- Several demons have made it clear that the show doesn't represent Hell properly. Some of the inconsistencies include bad language, attitude (most demons are pretty chill and very polite), and the fact that the real-life Hazbin "Hotel" is actually a Motel. But the roads were too complicated for the producers to understand that.
- Its entire color palette is red, yellow, pink, and black.
- In this series' canon, Hell is located in a evil counterpart to Canada called Evil Canada.
- Purple Jesus not in this show because he is in Purple Heaven, not Hell.
- I'm gonna assume this show is better than Teen Titans GO!
