Mii

Miis are Nintendo's customizable avatars. The name is a portmanteau of "Me" and "Wii". How nice! There is no "I" in "Mii"!

History

Miis were created along with the Wii in 2006 after Shigeru Miyamoto played a Hamtaro game.

After the Nintendo Switch came out, Nintendo decided that , so Miis became much less prominent.
