Nerpal is a small island nation located somewhere on Earth. Geologists theorize it was formed from all the land that was displaced to dig out Lake Baikal. It is considered a nerpa paradise, as there are no other mammals on the island. It is completely isolated, being the largest landmass not inhabited by humans. No civilization has ever settled here due to the odorous nature of the island's fauna. No ship or plane travels to Nerpal; it is only accessible by swimming across a 2-meter strait from a mysterious, long tendril of land.
