Okin Vastberry Field

The vast Okinberry Frolickin' Fields, or the Okin Vastberry Fields, is a large swath of land accounting for roughly 2% of the planet's land area. While seeming smooth from a distance, Vastberry is actually completely covered by a single species of plant, known as the underrated short-hair okinberry grass. It is a shorter forme of the okinberry bush. The fields are largely uninhabited, as man cannot live on okinberry alone, due to the poison and lack of variety. The choking grip of the short grasses also prevent any wildlife larger than a bee from living here.
Blaze
About once every month, a terrible lightning strike sparks a wildfire in Vastberry. Okingrassies are very dry and brittle always, and the berries are highly combustible, so the fire spreads quickly but dies out in a day. The aftermath is the death of about 99% of all okingrassies. However, this superfertilizes the soil, allowing the grass to bounce back pretty quickly.
