Pikmin 3
Pikmin 3, stylized as Pikmin 1+2, is the third installment of the Pikmin franchise, and the 53,146th video game overall. The players controls the brave Captain Blue Olimar and his band of raggedy heroes as they venture through the evil planet Earth.
Gameplay
The player can pick up the titular Pikmin 3 and throw them to accomplish tasks. Players must avoid hazards to avoid doom. Most points win.
Departures
Pikmin 3 is very different from its predecessor, Pikmin 2. They removed the Yam and Poison Pikmin, for one. Just got tired of them, I guess. Then, they removed ultra-bitter berry. And if that wasn't enough, they got rid of Segmented Crawbster, too!
They also got rid of caves.
New
Unlike the previous games, you no longer play as Louie. Several new enemies were added, such as the Page Mini. New types of Pikmin were born: Flying and Hard.
Controversy
Pikmin 3 was a flop because it wasn't Pikmin 4.
