Secundaria (/ˈsɛ.kʌn.dɹɪ.ə/, SE-kun-dri-uh), officially the State of Secundaria, is a subdivision (officially categorised as a state) of Ashtonia, with its capital and largest city being Secundaria City. It is known for its population of low-quality JPEGs, to the point where both its flag and seal are regularly depicted as such.
Etymology
Secundaria's name comes from the Latin word secundārius meaning "second-class, of inferior quality".
You might think Secundaria City was named after the state, but it's the other way around. The city was originally just called Secundaria, but when the state was created and named after the city, the city was renamed Secundaria City to avoid confusion. However, people still confusingly call the city "Secundaria".
Secundaria has since become a stronghold for many warlocks who had been persecuted in other lands for practicing JPEG energy-based magic, most notably the infamous warlock Michael P.
