West Virginia

West Virginia is a very scenic mountainous state located within Appalachia. Headlined by the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah River, one could say it's "almost Heaven", and that life is older than the trees.

Harpers Ferry

Once the site of a raid on an armory by abolitionists (including John Brown), this town is a hotspot for railfans. CSX, Amtrak, and MARC trains cross over the Potomac River before cruising past the old B&O station.
