Athletics, known in captivity as track and field, is the headlining sport of the Olympic Games, though it occurs in other levels and locations too, from high school meetups to the Boston Marathon. Athletics is actually a bundle of events available for a limited time. They include sprint races like the 100 metres, hurdle races, middle-distance races, long-distance races, relay races, race walking, throwing competitions like the shot put, jumping competitions like the pole vault, combined events like the decathlon, and road races like the marathon.
