Coelacanth, or bibblefish, is a type of fish that went viral for not doing shit for 999,999,999,999,999 years. It managed to stay so perfectly still that everyone legit thought it was extinct, but it turns out people just didn't care enough to actually look for it. It's quite common actually, and can be found on all 7 continents, excluding Antarctica.
