Cyberdemon

The Cyberdemon is a demon featured in the DOOM franchise. It has appeared in some form in every mainline DOOM game.

It is the hardest enemy in the original doom, mostly because the Spider Mastermind sucks ass and can be killed in one BFG shot.

The Cyberdemon first appears in E2M8, Tower of Babel, as the final boss of The Shores of Hell. It then reappears in E3M9, but it is easily dispatched with a nearby invulnerability sphere and rocket launcher.

It later appears in several maps of Thy Flesh Consumed and Doom II, notably appearing in MAP20: Gotcha!, where it fights a Spider Mastermind.

Lore

The Cyberdemon was an attempt by the UAC to resurrect an ancient Balgaar demon. They would later resurrect more as Tyrants.
