Synopsis
Doctor Who is a Japanese action adventure about a time traveling seal, who is neither a doctor or a who. The main character, Doctor Who, travels around in a blue police box throughout space and time. Along the way, he meets colorful characters like The Okins, a deadly race of mutated guys that sit inside a trash can and exterminate people. The secret to the show's success is replacing the lead actor every few years with a new one, starting a new incarnation of The Doctor. So far, at least 8 actors have played the role on and off. The show was cancelled in 1989 due to low ratings, but was brought back in 2005. We DO NOT talk about the 1996 made for TV movie...
