Immanuel Kant

Immanuel Kant was an enlightenment philosopher who defined what he called categorical imperatives. These imperatives say that you should do what everyone should do and also that you should treat people as valuable into and of themselves. Many people have said that Kant was a very smart man.

Despite being credited for coming up with the idea that all human beings are valuable because of their capability for reason, he was quite racist actually and was not at all chill. By applying galaxy-brained levels of reasoning, he concluded that his own ethical theory proved that racism was cool which is not very nice of him.
