Microsoft Babies

Microsoft Babies are a diverse clade of small scale insects that are characterized by their abnormally squishy exoskeleton. They have a notable chewy, delicious flavor and are thus highly endangered. In captivity, they are known as Microsoft 365s due to the number of days it took to tame them.

In Smash Run, Microsoft Babies are used to represent stat boosts.

Species

Microsoft Word is the school librarian and an alumnus of Harvard University with a PhD in essaying. Looking much similar to a nine-banded armadillo, its scales usually act as a bookshelf. However, the books must be stacked from bottom to top to avoid muscle strain. When empty, the scales double as a xylophone.

Microsoft Excel is the closest relative to Word, with a near perfect phenotype. However, Word is to trapdoor spiders as Excel is to other spiders, living in a cobweb that stores information like a motherboard.

Microsoft PowerPoint is a pizza place, known for its dazzling graphic design. Demand for pizza is highly elastic in relation to graphic design, and so the Oakland Athletics' upcoming stadium in Las Vegas will only serve PowerPoint pizzas.

Microsoft Outlook is as vibrant as the dance floor of a 1970s discothèque, with square pads akin to crocodilian scales. Its observation tower watches out for predators near and far.

Microsoft Teams is the sports club. Currently, there are only two tennis players in the club, but they hope to expand to football with hopes to win the UEFA Champions League. Go Microsoft!

Microsoft Defender is the material that makes up the hedges surrounding the moat surrounding the castle surrounding the biome. This is a great example of mutualism, a kind of symbiosis, in the computing world.
