Paper Niko Chibi is the helpful helper to Paper Niko. He was added because focus groups found Paper Niko to be unsettling and too quiet. He replaced In a Nutshell's roster slot.
Chibi Paper Niko also appears in Paper Niko shorts, alongside chibi versions of the rest of the cast. In these appearances, it seems that this is meant to represent Paper Niko himself rather than the different character of Paper Niko Chibi.
