Taranza is a spider-like wizard-like from the Kirby franchise of games for the Nintendo family of video game console systems, where he first appears in the game Kirby's Triple Deluxe. Taranza is a silly silly guy who is super cool and awesome.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe

In Kirby and the Triple Deluxe, Taranza kidnaps King Dedede at the start of the game and antagonizes Kirby throughout, using his magic to create or awaken the bosses Kirby has to face. At the end of the game, Taranza directly confronts Kirby, puppeteering King Dedede and making them fight. After Kirby beats King Dedede, he summons Queen Sectonia, who demeans him for failing to complete her mission, before blasting him away, killing him instantly. Taranza never appears in the Kirby franchise again. Sad!

Team Kirby Clash Deluxe

Taranza's next appearance in the Kirby franchise is in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, where Kirby fights him directly because he became evil due to the evil mirror in that game. Taranza's evil mirror counterpart, Dark Taranza also appears in this game.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe

In Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Taranza makes quite a shocking appearance, as he completely replaces every instance of Magolor in the original game, while he is kept exclusively to his theme park, Merry Magoland. When asked to comment on the matter, Hal Laboratory replied saying "fuck you!!!"

Relationship to Queen Sectonia

The relationship between Taranza and Sectonia is unclear. It is likely that Taranza was a mercenary who simply worked for Sectonia for money. Their lack of personal connection is evident in the fact that they don't look all that much alike, despite both being bugs.

Relationship to Morpho Knight

Morpho Knight, as well as the Butterfly that turns into Morpho Knight, is also a bug, making the connection to Taranza all the more likely. Further research is required.

Relationship to Kirby

Taranza and Kirby do not interact, so it can be assumed that neither of them are aware of the other's existence.
