West Coast Rail Speedrun
The west coast rail speedrun is a speedrun that requires the runner to ride a specific set of Amtrak, light rail, and tourist trains from San Diego, California (more specifically San Ysidro) to Vancouver, British Columbia or vice versa. This will take multiple days.
Rules
The run begins upon setting foot on a vehicle while within the first station.
The run ends upon setting foot in the final destination after having set foot in all of the other trains.
Between Amtrak stations and tourist lines, you may take a bus or Uber.
Routing
To complete the run, one must start at the San Ysidro Transit Center make the following trips in the following order or vice versa:
- San Diego Trolley Blue Line to Santa Fe Depot
- Pacific Surfliner to Los Angeles
- Coast Starlight to San Jose Diridon
- Capitol Corridor to Sacramento Valley Station
- San Joaquins to Fresno
- Uber to Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad
