Windows 9
Windows 9 is the sequel to Windows 8, and the 9th entry to the Windows series overall. Windows 9 featured a similar UI to its beloved predecessor, with the biggest difference being the start screen tiles having rounded edges. Windows 9 was released to the public on July 27, 2015 and had its support ended on July 28, 2015. This short lifespan was attributed to lackluster sales numbers within the first hour of release. The scrapped contents for Windows 9 Season 2, which had started development before cancellation, were reworked into a comic book adaptation.
