Amtrak is the national passenger rail company of the United States. Unfortunately, Amtrak doesn't excel compared to the railways of other countries like the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and even Uzbekistan. Nevertheless, Amtrak seeks to expand its network to more and more cities across America. Currently, there are 45 services. Many of these services travel along the electrified Northeast Corridor, the abode of the fabled Acela, America's only high-speed train.
