Sir Lowham Hatt (Thomas and Friends) is a character and mandatory party member from Thomas and Friends, a 2000 video game about Thomas and his many friends. Sir Lowham Hatt was one of Thomas' friends, despite being a pesky fox. Unfortunately. he passed away saving his friend from the wrath of the Bisexual Diesel 10.

Appearance

He was an anthropomorphic red fox, basically. Kinda based but OK. As his name states, he wore a hat and lived in Lowham, Divland. He was male, and was also kinda lowkey gay...

Personality

He was very pesky. He befriended Thomas the Tank Seal upon the latter's visit to downtown Lowham. They later visited Highham to have a nice meal. How cutes! He was also friends with Starr the cat, who was also pesky but not as much as Hatt.

Controversy

As his name suggested, he loved low places. Inversely, however, he also had a great fear of heights and the top of places. He threatened to knock over every water tower in Divland due to their excess verticality, and actually got away with knocking down two before being caught by the authorities. He was able to settle in court and spent only a little time in jail, much to the dismay of water drinkers. The people of Divland still questioned his motives afterwards.

Death

Sir Howham Hatt's untimely death came at the hands of the game's primary antagonist, Bisexual Diesel 10, a mech driven by a bisexual millionaire.. After Thomas and his friends approach the deepest corners of Bisexual Diesel 10's lair near the end of the game, Sir Lowham Hatt regrettably reveals that he was an operative working for Bi Diesel 10. He expresses regret in his betrayal speech due to the bond that he eventually formed by fighting by their side. After promptly leaving the party, he joins Bisexual Diesel 10 in fighting his former friends in the game's final battle. Stricken with grief from having been betrayed, and needing to realize the prophecy and defeat Bi Diesel 10, Thomas and his friends engage in combat with the former friend and the ultimate evil, but are swiftly defeated at the hands of Bi Diesel 10.

As his master is about to land the final blow, Sir Lowham Hatt has an internal moral conflict, reflecting back on all the good times he had with Thomas and friends. In an act of surprise, he jumps in front of Bisexual Diesel 10's ultimate attack, fatally wounding himself but saving Thomas. As he bleeds out and slowly loses consciousness, Thomas goes to console his fading friend. He dies with a smile, knowing he willingly saved his friend and giving Divland one last hope in defeating Bisexual Diesel 10.

Funeral

A funeral was held 10 days after Sir Lowham Hatt's death. All of his friends and close relatives were there, and Hatt's favorite music was played in memory of him: the entire Homestuck soundtrack.

Legacy

Sir Lowham Hatt's death allows for Thomas to realize his hopes and dreams in defeating Bisexual Diesel 10, and uses the power of his unconscious fallen friends to turn into Teggen Toppa Thomas Tank Engine Lagann. Although Bisexual Diesel 10 assumes a powerful giant mecha form to combat this, he is still defeated and peace is returned to all of Divland, with Sir Lowhamm Hatt advertedly being the catalyst for saving the day.

In the game's after credits scene, we see a well decorated grave on a desolate hill dedicated to him. Unfortunately, due to the gravestone being made out of cement, it is quickly devoured by various pinnipeds just moments afterwards, the act of which is witness and provokes disgust and horror for the inhabitants of Divland and Thomas, the ladder feeling betrayed by his own race for their defiling of his friend’s grave. This caused Thomas to renounce his seal heritage and become fueled by his hatred for all of sealkind, vowing to execute all of them for desecrating his Lowham Hatt’s grave. This is wildly theorized as to why Thomas is the founder of Keine Robben in the Real World, as Thomas and Friends was based on a real story.

This technically also means that this dumbass fox was the catalyst for total seal extinction. god..

Resurrection

Non-canon

In the non-canon fighting game Thomas VS Friends, Sir Lowham Hatt is resurrected by a powerful entity known as Sandra for reasons unknown. He renames himself Renart☆Lorphelin, and wears a mask that makes him absolutely unidentifiable.

Thomas first meets him as Renart in chapter 2 of the story mode, where he feels a strange connection to him. After defeating him, he flies away. They meet again in the labyrinth of chapter 3, where Renart explains that Sandra gave him the ability to fight. You fight him once again, then unlock him as a playable character. He leaves once more and is never seen until the final boss where he talks about Sandra's mysterious powers of resurrection. He helps defeating Sandra's minions while Thomas fights her. He then disappears, making it unclear whether or not he was really alive or just one of Sandra's illusions. No character except her is aware of his true identity.

Beyond canon

nah.

Finnegan

no he didnt

It's possible Sir Lowham Hatt may have been resurrected as Finnegan. However, this is unproven and it's possible that these are just unrelated foxes... Sigh, I miss you Hatt...
