Babel is a global musical project created by SMW. Its mission is to unite humanity during times of division. It is not a non-profit organization.
Naming
Babel was named after the Tower of Babel. It represents the different tongues of the world coming together in song, as music is the one true universal language of humankind.

- Inspired by the Indian Music Experience in Bengaluru:
- (PLANNED) A song blending Indian, Western, and other sounds. It will feature santoor, sitar, bansuri, sarangi, harmonium, tanpura, dholak, tabla, mridangam, dhol, guitar, piano, saxophone, violin, bass guitar, drums, congas, darbuka, and djembe. India's music scene is thriving, with record labels like T-Series being among the most prosperous in the world.
- Inspired by the Min-on Music Museum in Tokyo:
- (PLANNED) A song featuring 24 string instruments, including sapeh, lute, biwa, sanshin, dramyin, rawap, Saraswati veena, either tanbur or dutar, komuz, bağlama, oud, tar, balalaika, charango, vichitra veena, bouzouki, erhu, sarinda, morin khuur, Indonesian and Bedouin rebabs, sitar, gadulka, and another instrument.
- Inspired by Copenhagen's Music Museum:
- (PLANNED) A song featuring 15 string instruments, including virginal, hammered dulcimer, concert zither, oud, mandolin, classical guitar, charango, sanxian, tanbur, harp, kundi, violin, kit violin, saw u, and sokou.
