Character appearances

Synopsis

The retro Crewninites crash down onto Earth and teach Saucewad how to commit theft and smoke weed.

Plot

The Crewninites, a duo consisting of Signsigngokt and Sock Haterr, pull up to Noah’s house. They knock on the door and spread their ideology that thievery is superior. Noah condemns them, citing that stealing is amoral[1] and slams the door in the their face. The Crewninites head next door to the Aqua Teen Host Force. Master Diffuser treats them like royalty, citing that stealing is moral.[2] Once the Crewninites begin stealing precious Host memorabilia, Zeitlock gets suspicious. The Crewninites take Saucewad to The Wiki Mall for a bit of penny-pinching periphery. The trio steals everything there, but since the mall has a catch-and-release policy, they return everything like the good samaritans they are. Upon returning home, Zeitlock confronts the no-good-doer Crewninites, causing them to pull out the Super-quad-Portla Gun. Unfortunately, the portals collide with one another and cancel each other out, rendering their ultimate weapon useless. Zeitlock shoots the Crewninites with their SUPER ZEITGEIST BEAM (which is a totally canon thing that’s always been a part of the ZEITGEIST’s lore) to scare them off. Sheepishly, the Crewninites flee, only to be seen later in about 17 other episodes. The moral of the story is to gamble all your money away.

Goofs

This section covers the many errors and mistakes the crew made while making this episode: The last 30 seconds of the episode aren't visible due to a popup that came up on my screen while I was pirating it.

  • From 1:35 to 2:17, the video cuts out completely. This is because I burned it to a disc that had a great big scratch in it.
  • Throughout the duration of the episode, a shopping list is visible the bottom right corner of the screen. This is because I forgot I put a sticky note on my TV to remind myself to get groceries while recording.
  • The episode is split up into chunks, due to Discord's 25 megabyte limit while I was sharing it with a friend.
  • The episode is in 240p at most, because the world can't have nice things.

Reception

I’m at two bars since I’m at work. It tends to have bad wifi.

Fan Reception

It’s hot as hell. The fans aren’t working.

Trivia

  • "The Creator" is heavily implied to be Morrigreen, whose Discord account is Morrigreen#2763.
  • Bart gets an F in this episode.
  • Duuuude Sock Haterr kinda sounds like Mr. Flare of Captain Disillusion fame.
  • This episode was released in 2002[3], which is three years before the year of the gamer and six years before de blob.
  • Everything in this episode is made with a biosynthetic paste known as OXin. It is highly pungent and toxic to the human nose. This means, unfortunately, the episode couldn't be released for the Smellphone, despite Drake's best efforts.

    Stealing is no good, folksters!
  2. Diffuser
Stealing is good, actually. It helps the economy by creating a common enemy.
