Dora is a competitor in the Wiki Camp 2. Their pronouns are she/they.

Appearance

Dora is a five-pin red Riichi Mahjong tile. Each pin on their face is composed of a set of three concentric circles. Her face is raised higher on their body than on a typical mahjong tile because of their mouth. Their face side is offwhite, and their back side is green.

They also have a red mole which they think is very cute.

Personality

Even though she has a mouth, Dora is very softspoken. They generally stay quiet and in their own thoughts unless directly addressed, and can be easily overwhelmed by aggressive conversation. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, she has a very creative mind, often imagining and planning scenarios or contraptions. They'd like to build one of them eventually, but haven't yet found the means to do so...

Challenge 1

Dora decided to join the Wiki Camp 2 when they noticed that a competition for CLOUT was happening. She hopes to use the prize to begin gathering capital for some of her creations.

Dora originally created their own wiki page some days after discovering the competition, but was conflicted on what information to write on it. She eventually put the task off for so long that her profile was still a stub on the date of the deadline. Panicking, she filled it with information about herself. Some of it was more personal than she would have liked, but just as she was considering making edits to it, the wiki closed for judging.

Dora placed 57th out of 101 competitors with a score of 92. Considering how frantically her page was made, she was surprised to be so high, but still wished that she had put more effort into it.

Challenge 2

Dora joined the HaZe Online Sports Troupe after seeing one of the Hosters for the team while out on a stroll. It made her realize that she hadn't played any games with other people in a long time, mostly playing single-player construction and strategy games. Despite some anxieties, she attended the first meeting of Host, and was relieved to find that there were only two other members. However, as more members joined, they became more and more reserved, until they ended up sitting in the back of the room just sketching plans in their notebook. At a later meeting, Nurse Cap happened to catch a glimpse of their notebook. Interested, she asked her about what the drawings were. Excited to share, Dora explained their plans for contraptions and setups, talking until the meeting ended. As they parted ways, Nurse Cap recommended that Dora try Urien in 3rd Strike because he has really good setplay. Dora ended up trying the game, and was fascinated by the different tricks possible with Urien's Super Art III, spending hours labbing combos. However, they quickly became frustrated with themselves for not being able to execute moves well against real opponents. Putting her own ability aside, she decided to instead act as a coach for the team, drawing up strategies and ideas for her teammates to use in their games of choice. This helped Dora become more comfortable around their team members, and they began settling in nicely.

Unfortunately for her, the moderators of the wiki had other plans for the future of the team, merging four homepages of separate teams into one hodgepodge of shitty transclusions. Distressed by the change and the large influx of new members, Dora briefly quit the team and isolated themselves. Once she calmed down, she realized how much the connections she'd made in the original Host team meant to her. They resolved to go back to the team for the sake of those friendships, even if the new changes to the team were confusing. With the support of the original members of the esports team, Dora slowly but surely warmed up to the other contestants on the team. She has stated that she's still wary of a few of them [...] but for the most part, it's kind of a refuge for [her] in this camp now.[1]

Host placed first out of 18 teams with a score of 297.4. Dora was excited to win a challenge, though they couldn't help but feel as though they didn't contribute as much as they could have to their team's page, due to their temporary absence.
