Greet
Greet is a cyberpunk food named after "green meat" and some guy shoves it in the hero's face and says "Hey, want some greet?" and it's meant to show us how food sucks in the Future.
Description
Greet is green meat. It tastes pretty bad. It is considered the lowest of all foods, but in the Future, that is the best you can get, barring gears or cyber-oil.
Origin
Greet is harvested from a scary thing. In the Future instead of milk, cows are harvested for their meat. This meat is then turned green, creating the greet. Greet cannot be made any other way. Fake greet made in other ways is known as fakegreet for short.
Greet forms in clumps. A group of clumps of greet is known as a grove, which is named after "green clove."
Uses
Greet can be consumed to heal 1 HP. Greet can also be cooked to create cooked greet, which restores 1 HP. Greet can be sold for 0 gold. Cooked greet can be sold for 0 gold.
Advanced recipes
Beyond the mighty cooked greet, greet can be prepared in many ways. These all do not increase the HP restored compared to common greet.
- Greet skewers imagines what if greet were served on a stick. However, the bones make this difficult, so this is not a common treat.
- Greet stew places small pieces of greet into a liquid such as water, milk, or cyber-oil.
- Greet pies are bundles of greet wrapped in a bready shell. This keep the greet warm for longer, though this is a downside, as greet is best served cold.
- Greet&berries™ is a brand name form of greet. It combines the rich texture of greet with the rich texture of berries.
- In the Future, the company that controls Greet&berries™ is evil and uses advertisements.
Pros and cons
The debate around greet has been raging on for as long as greet has existed, which is not yet.
- Pros:
- Greet can be consumed to heal 1 HP and sold for 0 gold.
- Greet is a must-have for any traveler.
- Greet is less dangerous than gears or cyber-oil, which reduce HP when consumed.
- Greet comes from the beloved cow.
- Cons:
- Greet tastes bad.
Economic impact
Since its introduction, which is eventually, greet production has become the largest Future industry. Groves of greet are shipped overseas in hover taxis. In exchange, countries that consume greet promise to return the bones when finished. Greet bones, known simply as bones, are a useful material in building constructions.
Deviousness
Greet is hardly devious for its cost.
Winged greet
Winged greet is a cherished form of greet that has taken flight. By hovering above the ground in sustained flight, it is assumed winged greet avoids getting eaten by predators. This is needless to say a benefit for the greet, as it is able to fly.
Myths
In the Future, the stories of the present day are like myths to them. As such, many whisper as to if greet is actually the green meat of the dreaded FRANKENSTEIN, a common folk monster of similar green appearance. This has all but been deconfirmed.
Secret
Greet is a secret.
Gold greet
Gold greet is a rare form of greet. It is estimated that 1 in every 10,000 greet is born golden. Gold greet cannot be eaten and can be sold for 2 gold.

Death
Greet has yet to die. Once greet dies, scientists predict, it will usher in a new age of different kinds of cyberpunk foods, such as electric jelly or cyber-oil you can eat.
