Lingoberries are the wild, undomesticated variant of wordleberries. It retains most of the visual appearance, such as bunches of green, yellow, and uncolored pustules, but is much less appetizing. Lingoberries are smaller, produce less juice, contain larger inedible seeds, have shorter seasonal periods, taste less sweet, and are very mildly poisonous. It took an estimated 5,000 years for the lingoberry to take the appearance of the modern wordleberry.
