Purple Homer Simpson is a version of Homer Simpson from the hit comedy cartoon, The Simpsons, in which he has been inflicted by the "purple curse".
Description
Purple Homer Simpson looks identical to Homer Simpson, aside from the fact that his skin is entirely purple.
Background
Homer Simpson is visited by a still image of Purple Homer Simpson after punching Lisa Simpson in the face. Soon, Purple Homer Simpson infects Homer Simpson, who then slowly infects his family with the same purple fate. Purple Lisa Simpson manages to become yellow again temporarily, describing the purpleness as the "purple curse", but she is quickly caught by the curse again.
Trivia
- It seems that the purple curse has several side effects along with gaining a purple appearance:
- Being inflicted with the curse long enough makes you delight in being purple, detesting the thought of becoming yellow again.
- The curse seems to have some life prolonging effects, as Purple Homer Simpson claims "the sooner you yellow, the sooner you die." before he steals Purple Maggie Simpson's purpleness and kills her.
