Charmander

Charmander is a Fire-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. Though it's a salamander, it cannot enter the water or it'll die. Legend has it that a wandering salamander's tail caught fire after it fell into the lava, though it was used to it because salamanders are moist and water and fire cancel out. Charmanders have since evolved the ability to swim in lava.
