Picnic Frenzy!
"Picnic Frenzy!" is the first episode of Battle for Dream Island and the first episode in the overall series. The episode was released on January 32nd, 2009. The release date was teased in a prior video; however, it was delayed a few hours due to the recent construction of the Los Angeles Tomb.
Plot
Cold Open
In "Picnic Frenzy", the contestants are tasked with creating the perfect picnic for their team. The catch is that they can only use ingredients that are found in the nearby forest. The teams must work together to gather the necessary ingredients and then prepare the food. The first team to finish their picnic and eat all of the food wins the challenge. Minty says, "This is going to be the best picnic ever!"
Elimination
The contestant eliminated in this episode was Font Mini, on account of her awful and bad behavior in the previous episode, "Don't Fall in The Holes, Sean!". She received a total of 5 votes, which was the lowest ever. Berry Pie also received one vote this round.
Before Font Mini was placed in the meat cooler, she exclaimed that she would have her revenge someday, and that she was also really hungry.
Challenge
The teams are gathered and the challenge is explained. The teams head into the forest to gather their ingredients.
Team 1 returns with berries, nuts, and leaves. They start to prepare a Berry Blast Smoothie and a Nutty Granola.
Team 2 returns with mushrooms, berries, and flowers. They start to prepare a Mushroom Soup and a Berry Tart.
Team 3 returns with apples, carrots, and celery. They start to prepare an Apple Crisp and a Carrot Cake.
The teams work together and finish their picnic foods. They all sit down and enjoy their picnic. Team 3 wins the challenge.
Stinger
The stinger is a flashback. The screen turns white and becomes teleported to the secret vault in the bank. Berry Pie sighs in relief as Volt comes back from the vault with a big bag of money. She lightly smiles at him before they get into an unmarked Toyota vehicle and drive down the street. However the viewer soon hears the car crash and the episode ends. This ending had a lot of fans surprised and even shocked and taken aback by what might have happened in the ending. A lot of fans posted videos explaining the ending of this episode and theories about what could have happened to the car and Berry Pie and Volt's lives.

Goofs
- Sean can be seen with light gray limbs instead of black limbs when you look at the video in front of the sun.
- When Minty says her catchphrase, it lasts 0.2 seconds. In previous installments, it lasted 0.25 seconds.
- In the scene where DVD Normal finds a treat, her arms are missing.
- At 5:52, Berry Pie's mouth has no pen pressure.
- In the intro, Volt and Sean are holding hands despite them not being friends.
- I just drank a whole dr pepper
- At 2:23, Font Mini has too many arms.
- Volt's voice changes in the episode.
- In the stinger, Sean's asset is flipped backwards.
