Mexico City

Mexico City, commonly nicknamed CDMX, is the capital city of Mexico. Formerly known as Tenochtitlan, it's actually the only capital in the Americas founded by Indigenous peoples. It is also home to the Internet's favourite salamander, the axolotl.
