Scale of the Universe

The Scale of the Universe is an online flash interactive created by Cary and Michael in 2010. It was followed up by The Scale of the Universe 2 in 2012. It was ported to Pixi.js by Matthew. The tools compare the sizes of different objects, such as a classical electron, the Minecraft world, and the Ant Nebula. SOTU 2 was featured in NASA's Astronomy Pic o' the Day in 2018, which is edited by Robert and Jerry. Its spiritual successor, Universe in a Nutshell, was created Phillip and Tim in 2020.
