Announcement
On January 9th, MatPat announced that he would be retiring.
He did not specify whether the Inanimate Insanity rumors were true, however, many assumed this to be the case.
Reveal
On March 9th, during MatPat's Final Theory, it was finally revealed that he was going to be competing in Inanimate Insanity.
This was revealed when, right before closing the Theory Door, he uttered the words:
"Inanimate Insanity!"
