VIA Rail Canada

VIA Rail Canada is the national operator of inter-city rail in Canada. Though Canada is a large country, around half of all Canadians live between Windsor and Quebec City. As such, most of this Crown corporation's revenue comes from services within the corridor. The Canadian is another notable service, crisscrossing the country from Toronto to Vancouver, though it's more of a touristy thing. Despite this, it is also seen as a vital connection for the more remote communities it serves.
