Canada

Canada is the first country in the world, the second-largest by area, the actual number one exporter of potassium, maple syrup, and poutine, and the location of the first Wiki Camp, down the hall and to the left from Portugal. It is known for its large variety of sports, entertainment, literature, culinary arts, beverages, technology, history, historical landmarks, architecture, human and alien communications, college classes, and TOTAL! DRAMA! ISLAND!, foliage, flora and fauna, crossword puzzles, castles with moats, rugby and ice hockey stadiums, animal welfare facilities, state parks, indoor gardens, and medicinal imports. It was first opened in 2002 in Ottawa, the capital city. Toronto is the largest city, yet it sucks.
Canadians also haaaaaate seals so much. They were the ones that started the entire anti-seal rhetoric. Pretty bad, eh?[1]

Canada is officially bilingual, with English being the most widely spoken language. However, in provinces like Quebec, New Brunswick, and parts of Ontario, French is the predominant language. Both are Indo-European languages, though more specifically Germanic and Romance respectively.
Etymology
It is speculated that the name Canada stemmed from Laurentian kanata, meaning "village" or "settlement". Laurentian was an Iroquoian language spoken along the St. Lawrence River in present day Quebec and Ontario, speculated to have gone extinct due to warfare with the Kanien'kehá:ka.
Size
Being the second-largest country in the world and reaching three oceans has its quirks. St. John's, the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador, is closer to Croatia than it is to Vancouver.
TV
CBC is the national public broadcaster. It's the BBC, but Canadian. There's also CTV, the largest private broadcaster. TVO is also big, but it's an Ontario thing. TVOKids made PAW Patrol, though. CBC kids has Mamma Yamma, who is so fucking awesome she’s a talking yam who lives in kensington market and she has the best style and swagger of any yam i’ve ever met.
Did You Know?: British soap opera Coronation Street is big here too.

Wildlife
Canada is a hotspot for wildlife enthusiasts. Canada's most infamous inhabitants are pinnipeds. Outside of seals, one can travel to the coasts to see whales and dolphins of many kinds. Throughout the land, animals of all shapes and sizes can be encountered, from bears to moose. Stay away from the cobra chickens, though.
Trains
Though Canada's train system isn't that comparable to many in Europe, it still has plenty of potential. VIA Rail Canada, the national passenger rail operator, provides frequent train services throughout the corridor stretching from Windsor to Quebec City. Within the corridor, two commuter rail operators connect downtown Toronto and Montreal with the surrounding suburbs. Another operator is based in Vancouver. For the best view of this vast land, VIA unleashes its world-famous transcontinental passsenger train, The Canadian. For three or so days, it travels between Toronto and Vancouver through forests, prairies, and mountains.
While on the topic of trains, I'm also gonna mention potential improvements. Remember the Toronto commuter rail operator? GO Transit (GO meaning Government of Ontario) is considered one of the best in North America, but if I were the head of regional agency Metrolinx, one of the first things I would do would be to consider electrifying the system. Right now, GO operates diesel-powered double-decker trains. Electrifying it (at least the Lakeshore West and East lines to Hamilton and Oshawa) would make it a world-class system, comparable to that of Sydney. Similarly, there is potential to make a high-speed line (or network) connecting Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal at the very least.
Rugby World Cup
Canada hosted the inaugural Rugby World Cup in 2003, and would host 20 years later in 2023.
