Mongolia
Mongolia is a country in east Asia sandwiched by Russia to the north and China to the south. The sparsest country on the globe, it once housed a vast empire led by Genghis Khan, stretching from the steppes to the Korean Peninsula, all the way down to Cambodia and into Iran, Türkiye, and even western Russia and Ukraine. Mongolia's capital is Ulaanbaatar.
Mongolia has the unique tradition of throat singing, which has seen a surge in popularity in recent years. Though Velociraptor died off, the country's new animal ambassadors include the golden eagle, Bactrian camel, and Przewalski's horse.
