Tonga is a Polynesian island country in the Pacific Ocean. Many of its islands are uninhabited, being home to tropical rainforests surrounded by white rings of sand. Tongatapu is the main island of the country, being home to the capital Nuku'alofa.

Sports

Rugby is a major obsession in Tonga.

At the Olympic Games, Tonga has only won one medal—a silver medal won by super heavyweight boxer Paea Wolfgramm. All in all, 20 countries have won only one Olympic medal, including Montenegro, Gabon, Senegal, and the late Netherlands Antilles.
