Indonesia is a Southeast Asian country with thousands of islands big and small. One of them is Java, home to more than half of the country's population (151.6 million people). This makes it the world's most populous island. Over 10 million live in the capital Jakarta. Sumatra is home to a unique lineup of animals, like Sumatran tigers, elephants, rhinoceroses, and orangutans. There is also Sulawesi, home to scenic coral reefs, and Borneo, which it shares with Malaysia and Brunei, as well as the island of New Guinea, shared with Papua New Guinea.
