Guyana is the only anglophone country in South America. It borders Suriname to the east, Brazil to the south, Venezuela to the west, and the Caribbean Sea to the north. It is known as the Land of Many Waters, and has lots of rainforest, cricket, and calypso music. Expect to see plenty of poison dart frogs and giant otters while you're there. The capital Georgetown is known for its British colonial architecture, including St. George’s Cathedral, an Anglican Gothic revival church made of timber.
