Afghanistan

Afghanistan is a Central Asian country that is nicknamed the Heart of Asia. The first country alphabetically in the English language, it is home to various ethnic groups, many of which are listed in the Islamic Republic's national anthem. The time in Afghanistan is GMT+4:30, one of the few places offset from Greenwich Mean Time by 30 minutes. Interestingly, crossing the border to China would make you jump 3 hours and 30 minutes ahead.
