Croatia is a Balkan country and, somehow, the source of a confusing page. Other than that, it's a nice place. An ideal place to start is the relaxed capital city of Zagreb. For some nice beachside relaxation, visit Rijeka. Split lies on the south side of the country. And then there's Rab, the birthplace of Saint Marinus, a stonemason who eventually founded San Marino.
Sports
Football is the biggest sport in Croatia. It's been performing very well at the World Cup and EUROs recently. At UEFA EURO 2024, it was placed in the Group of Death with Spain, Italy, and Albania, though the Croats barely made it out.
