Peru is a country in South America, located along the Andes. An ancient land once home to the mighty Inca Empire, Peru is highlighted by the Amazon rainforest, Lake Titicaca, and the time-honoured cities of Machu Picchu and Cusco. At the heart of it all is the capital city of Lima.
Peru even has hills with a rainbow-like gradient! And also the only land-based route to get to Copacabana, Bolivia.
Weaving
Weaving is an iconic aspect of Peruvian culture. As Runasimi was initially an oral language, textiles were a visual way of communication and expression. There's even sweaters worn by alpacae!
