Golf is the sport of rich people. It takes place in a vast grassy course with 18 seemingly pleasant hills, with sand pits and ponds scattered about. Golf originated in Scotland; as such, all golf courses emulate the Scottish highlands. Despite all the birds singing in the background, they're probably thinking of this fraudulent emulation as a wasteland where balls fly and alligators stand by.
